Dhawan tried his best to hide his identity by wearing a blue blanket, but some people in the crowd recognized Shikhar Dhawan. Shikhar Dhawan has come on a pilgrimage to Banaras. He also went viral on his Instagram account with a video featuring a popular Omkara song. Shikhar Dhawan, who has a tripund on his forehead, is seen in a different way.

Shikhar Dhawan also arrived in the court of Baba Vishwanath of Varanasi late Tuesday. He had arrived in Kashi on his religious journey. He worshiped in Baba Kaal Bhairav and Kashi Vishwanath temple.
